Terms of Use

Effective August 20, 2026

Using this website

This website is provided by the Greater Chiefland Area Chamber of Commerce (“the Chamber”) for the community, our members, and visitors to the greater Chiefland area. By using it you agree to these terms.

Online forms and typed signatures

When you submit an online form on this site and type your name in a signature field, you agree that your typed name is your electronic signature and has the same effect as a handwritten one — for example, agreeing to membership terms or event rules. You also confirm that the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Payments

Membership dues and event fees may be paid by cash, by check to the Chamber, or — where offered — online through PayPal. Online payments are processed by PayPal under PayPal’s own terms; a registration is complete when both the form and the applicable fee have been received.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep the information on this site — including the member directory, event details, and area statistics — current and correct, but it is provided “as is” without warranty. Details like dates, prices, and hours can change; please confirm anything important with us at 352-493-1849.

Directory listings

Member directory listings are provided by the businesses themselves. A listing does not constitute the Chamber’s endorsement or guarantee of any business, product, or service. Members are responsible for the accuracy of their own listing and may request corrections at any time.

Links to other sites

This site links to outside websites — member businesses, parks, and government resources. Those sites are not operated by the Chamber and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Site content

The text, photographs, and design of this website belong to the Chamber or are used with permission. You’re welcome to share links to the site; please ask before republishing content elsewhere.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Chamber is not liable for damages arising from the use of this website or reliance on its content. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
